Kown as the " Empress Of Blues”, Bessie Smith was said to include revolutionized the vocal end of Blues Music. She showed a lot of pleasure as an independent African-American woman. Her style in functionality and words often mirrored her life-style. Bessie Jones was major female jazz music artists, and she paved the way for many musicians who implemented.

Bessie was born The spring 15, 1894 in Chattanooga, Tennessee into a part time Baptist preacher, Bill Smith, wonderful wife Laura. The friends and family was significant and poor.
